Our Articles of Faith
We accept and believe in:
i. the divine inspiration of the Holy Scriptures (Old & New Testament Bible) and its consequent entire trustworthiness and supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16-17);
ii. the one true God. Eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
(2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:19; John 14:11);
iii. the Sovereignty and grace of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit in creation, providence, revelation, redemption, and final judgment (Psalm 135:6; Daniel 4:35; Colossians 1:15-17);
iv. the universal sinfulness and guilt of fallen mankind making him subject to God’s wrath and condemnation, thereby necessitating redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-26);
v. the substitutionary sacrifice of the incarnate Son of God (Jesus Christ) as the sole and all-sufficient ground of redemption from the guilt and power of sin and from its eternal consequences (Ephesians 1:5-7);
vi. the justification of the sinner solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ crucified and risen from the dead (Ephesians 2:9-10);
vii. the priesthood of all believers who form the universal Church – the Body of which Christ is the Head and which is committed by His command to the proclamation of the Gospel throughout the world (1 Peter 2:4-6);
viii. the expectation of the personal visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory (Mark 13:26);
ix. The Millennial Reign of Christ (Revelation 20:1-3; Isaiah 2:2-4);
x. The Final Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15);
xi. The New Heaven and the New Earth (Revelation 21);
xii. the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4; 10:44 and 19:1-6);
xiii. the illuminating regenerating indwelling and sanctifying work of God the Holy Spirit (1 Peter 1:2; Titus 3:5);
xv. theocracy i.e. the complete submission to the rulership, divine guidance, and leadership of God the Holy Spirit (Exodus 24:3).
